The TaylorMade Soft Response Soft Response ball is specifically designed for moderate swing speed players, with a new, softer core and a re-engineered ionomer cover for added greenside spin. Birdie Golf Ball: The changes give you a softer ball with an overall 50 compression rate versus a 60 compression rate in the previous generation. The ball's 3-piece construction features an added SpeedMantle™ layer that creates efficient energy transfer at impact, enhancing feel and maintaining both ball speed and distance.
To increase carry with extended flight, the Soft Response ball features a unique Extended Flight Dimple Pattern that decreases drag and optimizes lift, allowing the ball to stay in the air longer at lower spin rates.
